About CardMax
Most people in the UAE carry two or three credit cards and use whichever one comes out of the wallet first. That habit quietly costs money, because each card pays very different rates on dining, groceries, fuel and travel.
CardMax fixes that in two ways. This website compares 115 UAE credit cards from 21 banks, so you can pick the right card in the first place. The CardMax app, now in testing on Android, goes further: it knows which cards you hold and tells you which one to use at the shop you’re standing in.
What we believe
- Rankings are earned, not bought. We rank by reward rate or fee only. See how we rank.
- The small print belongs next to the big number. Caps and minimum spends are shown on every card.
- No invented numbers. If we don’t know something, we say so rather than guess.
How we make money
CardMax may earn a commission if you're approved for a card through links on this site. This never affects how cards are ranked: rankings are by reward rate or annual fee only, and no bank can pay for a position. Card details come from each bank's published terms; always confirm them on the bank's own site before you apply. CardMax is not a bank or a licensed financial adviser.
