Delete your account
You can delete your CardMax account and personal data at any time. It’s free and you don’t need to give a reason.
In the app (quickest)
- Open CardMax and sign in.
- Go to Profile (tap your initial at the top of Home).
- Tap Delete account, confirm, and enter your password.
Your data is deleted straight away and you’re signed out.
Without the app
Email cardmax.uae@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my CardMax account”, from the email address you signed up with. We’ll confirm it’s you and delete your account within 30 days, and email you when it’s done.
What is deleted
- Your account (name, email and sign-in)
- Your wallet: cards, last four digits, due dates and reminders
- Purchases you logged, and anything logged from bank alerts
- Arrival reminders, memberships, budgets and other preferences
What is kept, without your name
Reports you sent about card data, card requests and Apply-click records are kept because they relate to the accuracy of our card database and to commission records, but your account ID is removed so they no longer identify you. Usage analytics are deleted automatically by Google within 14 months. See our privacy policy.
If you subscribed to Premium through the App Store or Google Play, cancel the subscription in your store account as well; deleting CardMax doesn’t cancel it.
